Just extremely excited at the Australian tour announced this afternoon! I'm not from Australia but am planning to fly down to catch them live.

Excellent gig in Manchester

I went to Manchester again this week to see them, they were fantastic, and the new songs sound excellent. The highlight of my evening was when my husband looked up from his meal in the restaurant and said 'look who's just walked in'. It was the band! I went over for an autograph and chatted with them about cool bands, and they were really polite and lovely!

We had an ace time, and we're going to be Down Under later in the year, so will try to catch another gig if...

Brilliant sounding set at the Relief concert fellas! And playing two new songs. This album is going to sound epic. Excited to hear the exclusives this week! And seriously Stu what's the deal with when you guys get televised they hardly ever put the camera on you? Jibbed I say, we should write angry letters into Peter Harvey.

Rosemount gig

Hi Attended the Eskies gig at the Rosemount tonight. They played really well - it was great to see them again, it's been a little while. They had their new drummer, Nic - who was rad. He's not a new face of the Perth scene, but a new member of the Eskies family... They played around 6 songs from the new album, which sounded great. Dan.

I am SOOO looking forward to this gig! I got introduced to Eskimo Joe when some friends of mine in Oz for a year sent over the latest CD thinking I would like it. How right they were! - And now we're all heading to the gig! Its great that they're coming to Dublin. I see now that the gig is changed to Kennedy's...I've never been there for a gig before. Does anyone know if its any good as a venue?? Looking forward to a great night!

You lucky people in Fremantle. Kav playing some solo gigs. With surprise guests. (See band website). If anyone is going ... please let us know how it was. Take some photo's, take a video and put it on YouTube. Very curious to hear any new material. To be a fly on the wall in the recording studio ... (hey, I would even be a cockroach under an amp). I found some good footage of the Point Nepean Festival concert. This was the last gig of the Black Fingernails tour on Easter Sunday 2008. As an extra, half the set was accompanied by a string sextet. Very special. You can find 9 clips on the YouTube page of this person (don't be put off by her name, this is legit). The sound is good and because it was still day the video quality is reasonable. Not to shaky either:

What great performance by the Eskies at Bluesfest. In fact it was ridiculous, so ridiculously fantastic. The entire festival 5 days in its entirety was complete magic.

Maybe it was the atmosphere, maybe it was the free alcohol, maybe it was the plethora of famous people walking around the sites but the crisp stench of weed mixed with the wafting smell of port-a-loos and the sultry sounds of strings with stellar vocals and an all star cast...okay I'll stop.

The best performance...

Justine and I think it would be highly appropriate for Eskimo Joe to tour with The Hot Lies and Horsell Common

you can just come and play a special show for us, of course her living in Newcastle and me the Gold Coast we meet half way. ROAD TRIP!

Actually I think we would be happy just getting everyones album catalogues and a neat PA system and sitting around with eskis in a caravan park...
